Apricot’s Heritage Dog Blankets in Fur are made in private ateliers in the USA, with a cozy, synthetic fur exterior and warm wool lining. These extra cuddly blankets are warmer than a sherpa blanket so that your puppy won’t need an additional layer on chilly nights. They are suitable for use during the winter, providing similar comfort to a duvet.
The first time I took these furs out of the box, Apricot was jumping up and down in excitement, eager to snuggle. As a Cavachon, Apricot has both the athletic heritage of a Cavalier King Charles and the regal heritage of a Bichon Frisé. Like her parentage, Apricot’s Heritage Dog Blankets in Fur are equally sturdy and sumptuous.
How can you tell if your dog needs a warmer dog blanket? Here are a few things to look for:
- Puppy’s nose and paws are cool to the touch
- Puppy is curled up smaller than usual to sleep
- Puppy is sleeping with nose tucked into their tail or a blanket
- Puppy tries to sleep in your bedroom at night

Materials and care
Suggested care is to machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and air dry. Any heat could distort the shape of the blanket.
Apricot’s Heritage Dog Blankets in Fur are made with softened wool fabric remnants and the wool lining may contain small amounts of nylon. Only synthetic fur was used in the making of these blankets!

Shipping and returns
All orders shipped with USPS Priority Mail to be delivered in 1 to 3 business days anywhere in the USA.
Returns accepted in new and unused condition with all tags attached, accompanied by the repair patch kit in its original packaging. Returns must be packaged with the enclosed return label and postmarked within 30 days of receipt.
