There’s more than one way to make a pup cup, and, here are five of my puppy’s favourite puppuccinos. A little variety keeps treats exciting and fun for your puppy.
I like to use 4-oz dishes for pup cups as they’re easy for a dog to eat from. The small white, porcelain bowls in the pictures are from Target.
Before feeding your dog anything, make sure you check with your veteranarian on the foods that are safe for them to eat!

#1 – the classic puppuccino
The classic pup cup is made from whipping cream. For the classic, you can top your serving bowl with about 5 ounces of whipping cream. Some people like to serve the classic pup cup with mini dog biscuits.

#2 – the babyccino
My puppy loves babyccinos. I can’t make a latte or cappuccino in the morning, without sharing a babyccino with her.
To make a babyccino, you’ll need a milk frother. I like to use whole milk. You can skim about 3 ounces of hot foam from the milk you make for your morning coffee and spoon it into your puppy’s serving bowl.

#3 – the half and half
The half and half is exactly what it sounds like, half puppuccino and half babyccino. To make a half and half, start by spooning 1-to-2 ounces of hot milk foam into one side of your puppy’s serving bowl. Then top the other side of the serving bowl with whipping cream.

#4 – the strawberry puppuccino
Strawberries are one of my puppy’s favourite puppuccino toppings in the summer. For a dog, you’ll need to use strawberries that are very fresh. Dogs do not like overly ripe berries.
One small strawberry is enough for a puppuccino and should be diced into small bites. Top your serving bowl with about 5 ounces of whipping cream and then spoon the diced strawberry onto the cream.

#5 – the honey babyccino
I like to make honey lattes for myself in the winter. Whenever I do, I share a honey babyccino with my puppy.
To make a honey babyccino, spoon 3 ounces of hot milk foam into your puppy’s serving bowl. Then drizzle honey on top of the foam in a zig-zag pattern.
With so many options to choose from, your puppy will always look forward to snack time!
